Health Insurance Billing Manager The Health Insurance Billing Manager is a newly created position to support a Third Party Administrator Health Insurance client. The position oversees the functions of a team of Billing Analysts that perform specialized financial, accounting, planning activities, investigations, coordination and analysis related to the TPA program, other state health insurance assistance programs and purchase of insurance without subsidies. Primarily the Billing Manager coordinates daily activities, assigns team responsibilities, and manages team personnel, while tracking and reporting activities to support Service Center operations. The manager directs the preparation of special studies, reports, and analysis, while providing recommendations in areas such as reconciliation, budgets and forecasts that are to be used by the TPA team. The Health Insurance Billing Manager must utilize their advanced knowledge and abilities to ensure that all reports are generated and delivered on schedule and to ensure that the continued reporting requirements to sustain the operation of the business are met.
Responsibilities: Oversees daily functions and assigns work within the Service Center. Monitors operational reporting to ensure associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met Serves as initial point of escalation for home office and operational reports, reporting requirements, and new or ad hoc report requests.
