Daystar Television Network
Daystar is seeking a professional Network Engineer with a servant's heart to integrate our IT Team.
This position is designed for someone who is organized, strategic, focused, diligent, detail oriented and resourceful.
Must have previous professional IT experience.
This professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing Daystar's local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime for users.
Designing system configurations, documenting, and managing the installation of new networks and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
Ability to work with a team or by yourself.
Ability to assign to network addresses and implement protocols.
Participate in troubleshooting network outages or performance issues.
Support VoIP phones and other devices.
Provide support to Help Desk and end users.
Assist in selecting new equipment and software.
Build and setup computer networks by physically installing, connecting, and configuring equipment.
Assist in performing network security measures and monitoring for threats.
Document equipment, networks, and maintenance, including warranties, repairs, and user requests.
Create, update, and troubleshoot accounts, passwords, and security.
Arranging scheduled upgradesWork with the Production Department supporting their integrated Network.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoSMust be a Christian who believes in the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ
Qualifications:
Secret security clearance required.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Network
or CCNA certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred by not required.
Experience with Fortinet firewalls ManagementExperience with Juniper SRX/EX switching.
Knowledge of Brocade and Dell switchingKnowledge of VMWareKnowledge and experience with cloud-based applications such as Office365 and AzureUnderstanding of Active Directory ManagementUnderstanding of Windows Server 2016 and 2019SALARY DOEAbout the Company:
