Safe work environment Lively atmosphere On-the-job training As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will be assisting Dr.
Johnson in the treatment of patients with various orthodontic problems.
Your responsibilities will include taking x-rays & photos, preparing teeth for braces, placing arch wires, sterilization, aid in aligning teeth using dental instruments and providing education and support to patients before, during and after their treatment.
You will need to have some familiarity with orthodontics by having had treatment yourself or having a close family member go through the process.
We are willing to train someone with no experience if they are teachable, and a fast learner.
We want to see good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Solid computer skills are also needed to help our patients with scheduling appointments.
Ultimately, you should also be organized, sensitive and motivated to help people feel confident about their smile.
Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist in all aspects of daily orthodontic business.
, including administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling appointments; assist the orthodontist in orthodontic procedures such as taking and filing radiographs, taking impressions, providing treatment for the patients under the supervision of the orthodontist.
