English/Spanish bilingual a plus, but not required.
Candidates need to have good computer, basic math and typing skills, able to multitask in fast-paced environment when needed and to communicate well with doctors and other staff members.
Reliable, responsible character, courteous and professional phone skills, caring customer service skills, strong organizing skills and paying attention to details a must.
Applicants with no medical experience but strong willingness to learn and help are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities include front & back office duties, but not limited to:
- insurance verification- obtaining referrals - billing assisting- collecting payments - answering the phone and scheduling appointments - filing paper medical documents, paper charts accurately - check in/check out patients - medical assistant skills - teamwork in keeping office clean and organized - communicating accurately and effectively verbally and in writing To apply, email your resume including phone, address, photo, and 3 professional references.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
